Medvedev says pandemic revives idea of 4-day workweek
MOSCOW, Feb 1 (PRIME) -- The pandemic has revived the idea of a four-day workweek, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said on Monday.
"The pandemic has introduced its own color to this. As we know, part of the people started working from home and working under a new schedule, four days instead of five, some people work under a different schedule altogether. I think we will return to the idea," Medvedev said.
The official said that the changes will not harm the economy.
